- JJayneVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI have only eaten steak here which has been fabulous and this time I went for seafood in the form of Garlic Shrimp and Fresh Oysters. The Garlic Shrimp were quite large and very filling especially if you order sides (I ordered Field Mushrooms and Asparagus). The sauce was buttery and perfectly garlicky and one thing I should have done which I will do for next time is save some of the Cheese Toast to soak up the rest of the sauce because they were very generous with it! Or get a side of potatoes to enjoy the sauce with! I was here on my own and my server John was attentive in just the right amounts and provided the perfect amount of small talk while leaving me to read my book. While I usually come here with my husband, I would definitely come back to Gotham for another solo date as everyone in the restaurant from the hostess to server made me feel at ease. Everyone was so intuitive and the hospitality level is like no other. Thank you for a wonderful night!More infoGotham Steakhouse and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9
- PPatWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhen we were lead to our table we were offered to check our coats. The atmosphere was lively and very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off sharing a Crab Cake, It was very tender and hot. I had the Filet Mignon with Béarnaise sauce and my wife had the Salmon Wellington with a Tarragon sauce(not Béarnaise). Both dinners were very good. I guess my only complaint would be the vegetables were under done, they were still crunchy. The desserts were incredible. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vancouver.More infoJoe Fortes Seafood & Chop HousePrice: Expensive• Seafood• West End•4.7
- AAnnaVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Homer Street Café & Bar. We sat at the counter and had an amazing view of some wonderful chefs creating delicious food. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed three small plate items (tapas) and everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. Loved the wine as well. We will definitely be back when visiting Vancouver again and will recommend to friends visiting as well. Happy New Year!More infoHomer Street Cafe & BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Yaletown•4.7

Last year we dined at reflections for xmas brunch and it was far too noisy, service was extremely slow and food was okay. This year was much better at 1927 lobby barMore infoThe Georgia Bar & 1927 Lounge - Rosewood Hotel GeorgiaPrice: Expensive• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Downtown•4.4
