Best Historic Restaurants in Glen Ellyn

Come here all the time. But the chicken dish my wife had today was not very good. Very disappointing. Also usually the waiters and waitresses are excellent ours was a little curt. Inattentiveand hands things across the table not next to you. First time ever disappointed, 

Food and service are amazing. Very pricy if you do drinks/wine, appetizers, main course and sides. Reasonably priced prix fix menu with good options. Shrimp/lobster bisque, ahi tuna, and oysters were delicious. Great quality steaks. Definitely will be back but probably for a special occasion vs. just dinner ‘out’.

Never been here, will go back for sure. A bit loud with the sax/piano combo but entertaining. Food was awesome, we actually ordered too much but made it through. French Onion Soup was the best we’ve ever had, no way could you eat a bowl, a cup was perfect. The fondue was also very good, much lighter than we expected, the fresh bread vs day old was a nice touch. Go here!!

Cranky waitress, but food was great. Interesting menu - some unique dishes too. I wish the tandoori items (kebab, chicken) could be obtained in smaller appetizer portions or a combo platter. s
