Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. If you want a real treat, look no further. From the wonderfully presented drinks at the bar, to the amazing waiting staff (shout out to Toni) to the sumptuous food, we couldn’t fault it. The ambience was old school. We shared a seafood platter for 4 to start. It was 10/10. 2 of us had the lamb chops (best I’ve ever tasted) & 2 had the steaks (delicious) and we ordered creamed spinach and whipped potatoes. We had just enough room for deserts and coffee. We never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble. What a wonderful dining experience we had.
