- CCathiPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat an amazing experience from the time we arrived and were greeted by the Reception staff to Chef Bruno in the lobby greeting guests as they come in, this was by far the best experience we have had at any restaurant! We arrived early and were welcome to take photos of the beautiful restaurant and grab a drink at the upstairs bar. My husband had a California Cab and I had a berry Mojito, a special on the menu. The mojito was the best I have ever had! What a great start! We were seated at a quaint table for two and provided water and rolls immediately. We ordered the Volcano Roll for appetizers and it arrived very shortly after. The roll was 6 pieces and I wish there were more because it was so delicious! We ordered our entrees next, I ordered the Blackened Ahi and my husband had the Petite Filet. Both arrived quickly and were presented well. The Blackened Ahi was absolutely fantastic and my husband’s filet was melt-in-your-mouth good! We had the privilege of speaking with Chef Bruno one more time. Brian was so delightful to talk to and engaged in conversation with us. We never felt rushed, and after we ordered the soufflé (definitely order this early in your meal), we were told it would take 20 mins to make. It seemed like it was just minutes and it was at our table. This was the absolute best dessert we have ever had! Our meal was amazing, the staff was amazing, and the restaurant was decorated in the holiday spirit. Such an awesome experience! I’m so glad we came and would come back again in a heartbeat!More infoAnaheim White HousePrice: Expensive• Italian• Anaheim•4.6
- AAndrewOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPhenomenal restaurant for a special occasion. Their cocktails are handcrafted, seasonal and on the strongside. For the first round we opted for their Mai tai made with aged rum. It’s $45 but pretty amazing! The lobster bisque is truly the best soup I’ve ever had. For the main entree the wife and I shared their Chateaubrand (20 oz. Filet Mignon, cut and served table side) and it was also the best filet I’ve ever had. We finished off our meal with an old fashioned and a large vanilla soufflés with grand marnier. Our soufflé was slightly over cooked however I won’t hold it against them as I’ve had it before here and it was perfect (accidents happen). Last but not least our server Jocelyn provided excellent service and we appreciated her attentiveness and suggestions. If you have a special day coming up or just a fan of the finer things in life, I highly suggest visiting the cellar!More infoThe Cellar - Fullerton CAPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Fullerton•4.7
- MMichaelOrange County •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIf you’re a fan of LOTR or The Hobbit, don’t expect rounds doors, Longbottom leaf or a bottle of 1296 Old Winyards. What you can expect is one of the most spectacular dining experiences around. My wife and I dine out rather often, maybe too often, and we don’t do fast food or chain restaurants. So we’ve had some pretty memorable dining experiences, but The Hobbit has arisen from their quiet fields to shake the towers and counsels of the Great. We’ll certainly be back. P.S. Frodo lives!More infoThe HobbitPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Orange•4.6
- RralphVIPOrange County •3 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 7, 2024Food is great. But, the bar is lousy. There needs to a good inventory of mainstream alcoholic beverages. Also, the bar tenders need to know how to mix drinks.More infoHidalgo’s Cocina & CóctelesPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Latin• Fullerton•4.1
