- RRobertNew Mexico •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was decent quality and very reasonably priced. What I enjoyed most about this restaurant was its cleanliness, simple menu and spacious dining. Plus, the ambience was quiet with low-volume Christmas music in the background. Zino's was truly the best restaurant choice in which to celebrate my UC Berkeley graduation directly after the ceremony ended. The staff had a lovely sense of humor and even wished me congratulations.More infoZINOPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Berkeley•4.2

Our waiters were great about suggestions and appearing whenever we needed them. The whole staff was in a holiday attitude and it showed. We love this restaurant for its food and atmosphere. Always take visitors here for the San Francisco local experience. It’s a treasure.More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7
- BBSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024Skates on the Bay in Berkeley provided a delightful lunch experience today as I caught up with a dear friend. We started with the artichoke and crab dip, which was rich and creamy, featuring generous chunks of fresh crab. It was served warm with toasted baguette slices, making it perfect for sharing while we chatted. For my main course, I enjoyed the salmon sandwich, which was a true highlight. The salmon was flaky and moist, topped with creamy avocado and served on a toasted brioche bun. The presentation was impeccable, making it almost too pretty to eat! The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with our server offering excellent recommendations. The restaurant's waterfront location provided stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, creating an inviting atmosphere for our leisurely lunch. Overall, my experience at Skates on the Bay was exceptional, combining fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and attentive service—an ideal spot for enjoying great food with friends!More infoSkates on the BayPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Berkeley•4.6
