If you're looking for an authentic sushi experience this is the place for you. We've dined here many times but this was our first time at the Chefs table for Omakase. I have had sushi at a lot of places and this was by far one of the best Omakase experiences I have ever had.

We went there for a light Lunch, $70 per person on average. Food and service are pretty nice. The parking instruction is confusing(the actually parking lot entrance is on 105th ave) and the map location on Open Table app is wrong(it will lead you to somewhere in residential area) The front door is actually on the Main Street, so you need to walk a bit to around the building. The rear door near elevator is closed, everyone is trying to access from there. More clear and accurate instructions would be appreciated.

Truly lovely dining experience with friends. We have always had good food here, but the service has been spotty. This time the service was exceptional and consistent with he quality of the food and ambience of this historic venue. Our server’s suggestion of the specialty pork belly dish to share was a hit with everyone at the table. Her service was quick and well timed. She had a good sense of when to let us enjoy our drinks and appetizers and when to appear to take our order. We all enjoyed the sablefish which was wonderfully done in a unique presentation with cabbage. The room is a little noisy. The grounds and hotel are festively decorated for the holiday making it a nice place to celebrate the season with friends.

As always, we had a fantastic meal at the Barking Frog. The menu and wine list are innovative and fresh, and we had a great family night out. The only downside is that the prices are now so prohibitively steep that we had to discount a few menu options, which is a shame. Overall, it was, it was a great experience.
