BEAR Hockley is perched slap-bang in the middle of Nottingham's creative neighbourhood. With its small red frontage nestled in amongst the rainbow colours of Carlton Street, the store has a lot more to show off inside than first meets the eye.     Food was great and drinks amazing, the person that served us incredibly nice and fun, however the person that brought the drinks was a bit off when we asked for the ice to be removed from one drink. Also, I received a pink panther drink that came with a steamy dry ice and when I asked if I should do anything about that as I didn’t know if I should pour that int he drink she turned her back, I assumed she didn’t hear me. In the future is better when you serve this drink to let people know that is just a decoration thing as not everyone knows and accidents may happen. Information is key.

    First time as a family we have eaten out for Christmas and what a beautiful experience. All the staff were welcoming helpful. The food was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely and added to the experience was the live singing which was also lovely. All diners seemed happy so this added to a beautiful experience. Yes eating out is more expensive but I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be revisiting in the year. Thankyou for making our first Christmas eating out experience so wonderful that we all want to repeat next year.

    We book every year for our wedding anniversary on December 24th and always chose the same festive menu . As ever out lunch was fabulous and our waiter was too
