Best Healthy Restaurants in Thornwood

A quiet Sunday afternoon, just before Thanksgiving, so we headed to Moderne Barn at four for an early dinner. We shared an appetizer of mushroom dumplings, and husband had his favorite tuna dish, with perfectly cooked tuna accompanied by white rice and pea pods in a delicious and moderately spicy sauce. I ordered the scallops on a bed of rice and mushrooms, also incredibly tasty. It was a wonderful meal and a quiet time before Turkey Day. And, as usual, the Tanqueray gin martini straight up was perfect. The service was impeccable and parking is easy! Always a dele sable place for good cuisine.

Food was outstanding! From pizza to pasta to fish. Always order the specials served in tin foil - will never disappoint. Everything is so flavorful and fresh. Plan to make this place a weekly visit and try everything on the menu

We dined here on a week night and the restaurant was quiet. The food and service were both amazing! I have eaten here on weekends as well, and find the place bustling with food and service equally great.

I went to Gavi for lunch with a friend on a Thursday. Since it was lunchtime, the restaurant was quiet and we had an entire room to ourselves. We could not understand why there weren't more patrons. The food was excellent, and the lunch special was incredibly reasonably priced with a good sized appetizer and entree. The service was attentive and professional. The room where we ate was lovely with big windows and nice lighting. We had such a relaxing time!
