La Mar continues to set the gold standard for exceptional dining. The location is vibrant, the service impeccable, and the food nothing short of extraordinary. For our party of five, we indulged in an incredible array of dishes: - Pulpo Anticuchero - Anticuchos - Ceviche Tasting - Planchada a la Mar - Grilled Salmon - Chicharrón de Calamar - La Mar Pulpo - Tomahawk 40oz All paired perfectly with the refreshing Kola and Chicha Morada. This wasn’t the first visit for some of us, but once again, La Mar exceeded expectations. The speed and quality of service were remarkable, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets La Mar apart is its ability to combine bold, authentic flavors with a modern touch, creating a dining experience that’s both comforting and memorable. From the tender, flavorful seafood to the perfectly grilled Tomahawk steak, every dish was a masterpiece. Expensive but really great restaurant. Enter to a huge , chic, family style restaurant. Table for 20, table for two, open kitchen and lamb roasting on the flame. Chic but not intimidating. Warm and cozy. You will enter another universe, close to downtown SF. Food is really great, instantly making you travel in the Mediterranean sea. The food is simple but it’s working really well.

So sorry I do not remember our server’s name, because he provided amazing service. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were amazing. The food was more than delicious, it was mouthwatering. View of the bay is spectacular! Oh yes, he asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were out celebrating a birthday and anniversary. He surprised us with two tasty brownie bites. Trust me, dine here and you will not be disappointed.

It was our first family Thanksgiving dinner at ANZU. The food was delicious, so many options and choices of what we could eat (Buffet). Our kids are already asking for the next reservation next year:(. I would absolutely recommend anyone, friends and families to try the ANZU's Thanksgiving lunch/dinner event. You won't regret., Trust me.

10 out of 10, this place was AMAZING! The blended service of ordering items of the menu and Dim sum style with the carts was fantastic. Our server gave up great advise in only ordering a few things from the menu then waiting for the carts to come around. We went here for my wife's birthday and she was so happy we did. We will for sure be back for another special occasion.
