Since 1997, we've been striving to please our guests, whether they’re looking for old favorites, seasonal creations, small plates or an introduction to new wine. We’ve adapted our style to reflect current food trends as well as the way our guests want to eat. We were initially seating inside. My back was to the bar and 2 men were standing with their ladies sitting on the barstools. They were blocking the aisle so people and waiters were bumping into me. The indoor server agreed with our dilemma and had a table and seating created for us outside near a heat lamp. Our server Alexis outside was AMAZING! She instinctively divided our food orders so we could share. Sea-bass was seared to perfection with the sauce on bottom, and scallops were tender and sweet. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and Alexis added a candle to both of our desserts (crème brûlée and chocolate mousse…scrumptious)! She was so pleasant and efficient. You have GEM in her. We will be back….when it’s warmer😜❤️!!

Overall a great experience. The server was amazing. The bread is to die for. The oysters were delicious. The peel /eat shrimp appetizer was great. The octopus appetizer was great. We also had the she crab soup, the mushroom side, the hushpuppy side. The entrees were the scallops dish and the flounder dish. Overall great. The wait time between dishes seemed very long. Not a place to go if you are on a tight schedule for event after dinner. Suggestion may be to order everything early on and let them glow it. Definitely will be back for oysters and appetizers.

We dined at Capers at lunchtime. The atmosphere was comfortable as tables were arranged so as not to be crowded or jammed close to other tables. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and knew the menu very well. The menu offers a variety of options for appetizers, salads, soups, combos, plates, and entrees. Then, there was the sweet potato cheesecake!!!!! Wonderful! Delicate, delicious!

Ray's on the River is the Go-To good restaurant for several of my friends. We are American but of English background and Ray's combines the highest food standards with European style classical decor and ambiance, functional and elegant. The service is especially good - what I would call International standard professional, attentive without being over-so; around when needed but not always interrupting conversation to ask how the food is. The menu is really good but not huge - they do what they know they do well. The upside of this is you get your good food unusually quickly. Not cheap but an excellent special lunch for two - shared starter, two mains, shared desert comes in at $60/$70.
