Best Healthy Restaurants in Glendale

The food was good. The service was great. The server was attentive and polite.

This was one of the best tasting menus we have experienced. We have enjoyed many Michelin starred and James Beard awarded restaurants and Birch is now one of our absolute favorites. Incredible value for a phenomenal meal. Sit at the chef’s counter and ask for Catie, her personality, knowledge, and expertise added to the overall ambiance.

Great service by Ron and the entire team. We had a high-top table and everything went smoothly. We were there for my birthday and found a "Happy birthday" sign at our table. It's our first time to Moxie in a while, and we agreed we should go back more often. I had the short ribs and my wife had the pasta with sausage and vodka sauce. All the entrees come with a soup or salad, so the value is better than it might seem at first glance. The portions were large, and we took some home for dinner tomorrow night. You may not need a starter unless you're very hungry. The wine list was thoughtfully chosen, with good choices by the glass and you can get samples if you don't know what you want.

Food was excellent but our service was a bit lacking, despite it being Christmas Eve it was not that busy. Our server was nice but he never came back to check on drinks or how food was. Overall could have been a bit better.

Food was good to very good, except the three cheese truffle flatbread, which was very plain, missing any truffle flavor and seemed to be topped with the cheapest grated parm. Service was ok, could be better. I don't think a single finished plate was cleared until we left the table. Service was courteous, at least. Admittedly, I was annoyed that they claimed not to take reservations, even though I had a reservation on OpenTable. It just wasn't a good look for our birthday dinner, kind of embarrassing and awkward. We enjoyed the outdoor area; firepit, giant jenga, giant Connect 4, bag toss, comfy seating, live music. Overall, good.
