- AAngelaWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur family always enjoys our meals. Nice variety and dishes that I can't make as well at home. Cocktails and beer hit the mark The andouille shrimp and grits, seared scallops over butternut risotto, pot roast. and chicken and waffles were all divine. Not a morsel of food was left on our plates. The appetizers of brie jammy onion bread, green tomatoes and biscuits kicked off our meal. This is a reliable casually elegant dinner spotMore infoFounding Farmers VA: TysonsPrice: Moderate• American• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.5

- DDR. ANDIvipWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOh my! I’ve been going to Clyde’s restaurants for decades. They’ve been special in their own ways: very good, mid-priced food, nice decors, and excellent service. This was my first time at Tower Oaks and, as soon as I walked in, I wanted to spend the week! Though that’s not possible, I do think their setting and ‘lodge’ decor are like the most exquisite National Park or luxury lodge I’ve been in. In the same Clyde’s fashion, no detail is spared and the tables are spacious and not at all crowded! Dawn was our server and she was top-notch; including when we wanted mussels but couldn’t eat the spicy preparation on the menu, she volunteered to speak with the kitchen about using the lemon butter on the cod and throwing in some garlic. It was divine! And we complemented it by a market salad with greens, apples, and pears and a white Balsamic dressing. We were seated in a large booth overlooking the forest. As we walked out, I saw a formal dining room with large round tables. I’ll be sure to bring our family group of 6-8 to enjoy what a round table offers. Could not have been happier! Since covid, we’re still not eating out a lot; this was a rare and perfect treat! Kudos!More infoTower Oaks LodgePrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.7
- EEboniWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoMy five person family (husband and three kids) all agreed that Ariana is one of the best severs we’ve had in a long time! She made the experience exceptional with her upbeat and friendly attitude! She was knowledgeable on what proved to be an excellent menu! We all ordered various items from the drink, appetizer, entree and desert menu. Every item was well prepared, flavored, portioned and presented! Loved the ambience too! Well lit establishment, not too dark or bright! Another thoughtful touch was warm towels to wipe our hands!! We will be back!More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - FrederickPrice: Moderate• American• Frederick•4.7
