My favourite dish of the night was the new “marinated beets” with mama ghanoush, salted ricotta (I omitted due to dairy allergy) & cured zucchini - A true chefs kiss/honourable mention to this extraordinary explosion of flavours, vivid colours and complimentary textures which paired superb with my delightful blueberry roiboos tea! The restaurant has such romantic vibes, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. We ordered steak with lobster, and my husband had steak—both were cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. A big thank you to our server, Kevin, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. His excellent service made our evening even more special. To make our celebration even sweeter, The Keg surprised us with a complimentary dessert to mark our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it. Round of cocktails were great - unique and tasty. Beet and pea agnolotti appies were delicious. Our friends have a garlic sensitivity and the kitchen was amazing about it and made them a special fish dish without garlic. Much appreciated. The artic char and tenderloin entrees were cooked to perfection and very delicious. Our server was great - helpful and attentive. Freezing cold walk over made it that much more cozy inside. Really appreciated the restaurant recommendations for our upcoming visit to Italy. Would have preferred to get our main courses a little quicker, but it was a busy night, so it wasn't a major issue.
