Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. It was my first time at Silver. We came to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our server, Will, was fabulous. He was friendly and had great recommendations. All of the food was delicious (we all raved about the lamb meatball appetizer and the brownie/pistachio mousse brownie dessert) and the ambiance was perfect for a ladies lunch birthday celebration. We will definitely be back!

I had not been to the Tabard Inn in a while, but so glad we had lunch there today. Everyone from the host to the server was welcoming and nice. The food was delicious - I had a salad with grains, greens and squash that i topped with grilled shrimp and it was fabulous. I will definitely be back soon.

I love the selection of dishes at True Food. I like to eat vegetarian, which isn’t so easy at most restaurants. It is at True Food. I got the Ancient Grains bowl and added tofu. There were other protein options available. My friend and I shared the charred cauliflower appetizer. Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding. It is a bit noisy—high ceilings and noisy fans going, but our overall experience was very positive.
