Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.
