- JJanaVIPNew York City •80 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIn addition to the food and drinks being consistently excellent, the staff is outstanding. Chelsea is the manager and is proactive with introducing herself to diners and constantly walking around the restaurant to make sure guests are enjoying their meal. What is especially nice to see is she supports the rest of the staff assisting, as needed, in clearing tables, delivering food, etc. We sat for dinner on Friday night at 7pm and it was very busy. The kitchen does an amazing job getting the food prepared and to the table piping hot. Juliana was our server and I would be remiss if I did not mention how fantastic, personable and professional she is. We were a party of 6, ordered drinks, appetizers, entrees, coffee and dessert. She was attentive not intrusive and paced our dining experience from start to finish very well. Toscano has become our go to restaurant because of the food, staff and service.More infoToscana FornoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Peabody•4.7
- WWendyCalifornia Central Coast •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWent for the New Year’s Day Hip Hop DJ Brunch and it did not disappoint! Tried the housemade donuts (cranberry orange & espresso martini), and they lived up to the hype 100%! Seriously, if we weren’t so full, I would have taken a couple of the orange-cranberry ones to go! Then we had chicken & waffles and the pastrami hash. The chicken was incredibly crispy and the hash was delicious- lots of peppers & onions to complement the pastrami. Music was loud (we were right in front of the DJ) with some great selections! Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!More infoLedger Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Salem•4.7
- RRichardGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024We dined at Anthony’s Pier 4 Cafe for the first time recently on our wedding anniversary because our wedding reception (44 years ago) was at the original Anthony’s Pier 4 in Boston. We were a bit concerned by the use of the word “Cafe” in the name thinking it might be a disappointingly scaled down version of the Anthony’s we remembered. It is not. The restaurant is large, with first class furnishings and layout that are strikingly reminiscent of the original restaurant. It was pitch dark out at dinner time in late December so we could not see the water, but it is on the water and during daylight or early evening hours must be a beautiful view. The food was excellent (I had an end cut of prime rib that was excellent and my wife had swordfish which she found excellent as well). We shared the baked Alaska for dessert which was excellent. The remote location (from our home in West Roxbury) is the only thing that would keep us from being regulars. It will be top of the list for future anniversaries at a minimum, however.More infoAnthony's Pier 4 CafePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Swampscott•4.5
