The server introduced himself and when we asked questions he answered them. The place was noisy. The food arrived just when we needed it. We have eaten at the new additions to fine dining, and while they are also excellent, the overall top score remains with Capital Grill. From the phone call to secure a reservation until the last goodbye, leaving at the end of the night, it was a first-class job. Even MORE impressive, this was Jan 1, 2025, so everyone working had to be dragging from New Year, but they did not miss a beat. From the initial greeting from the host, being sat on time for our 5pm reservation, to a promptly greeted server, and then some of the best tacos we have ever had were served along with our chips and salsa…and can I say the three salsas were n point! Unexpectedly, we had an extra special time. It was our anniversary and, unbeknownst to us beforehand, Selva added a couple of extras to our experience that made the evening that more special to us. I’d recommend Selva to most anyone. Favorites for us are their Caesar and House Salads, Skirt Steak and, my personal favorite, their Rack of Lamb, all with Selva’s special herbs, spices and sauces.
