Best Fun Restaurants in Glenelg

This was our first visit to Bushel and a Peck, it was quite enjoyable. The food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxed, and the service outstanding. We liked having a carafe of cold water on the table and the fast refills of our drinks. The entire experience was really wonderful and relaxed. We'll be be back.

It was my birthday and it was a restaurant I had visited up in Hamden years ago. But this restaurant was even so much better. I had an incredible server and the food was absolutely out of this world amazing. Made my birthday so special. Thank you guys so much!

Cody was our server and he couldn’t have been better; personable and non-intrusive at the same time which can always be such a balancing act. He pulled it off no problems. Met one of the managers as well, Ted, who was great and jovial. It’s always awesome to see a restaurant manager touch tables while also helping their staff. Food was phenomenal and at the perfect price point. Thank you all very much!

The entire experience was fantastic. I had emailed the restaurant to advocate that a dish they used to have on their menu be considered for a return, and the chef emailed me back that they would make it for me at our next visit, which we already had a reservation for. They must have put a note on our reservation, because our server knew all about it before we said anything at all. The Manager stopped by to talk about it too. I can’t think of any other restaurant I’ve been to that has gone that far above and beyond for the average customer. The food was wonderful, and we adore our server to the point that we ask for her every time we go.

We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. Our server came right over and took our drink orders. The BlackBerry Sangria was amazing! The bread was delicious and the salad was ok(not a fan of vinegrette). Our steak was prepared as each of us requested. It was delicious! The special sauce was very tasty! Much to our surprise they came around with another round of steak and fries (which my mom and I boxed up as we were full). I highly recommend Medium Rare if you enjoy steak in a nice atmosphere!
