- JJerryVIPFort Lauderdale •58 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food and experience was outstanding. We had the fried mini meatballs which were off the charts delicious and pizza for an appetizer which also was fantastic. For our main dish I had the veal chop on the bone parmigiana which was tender and so tasty and my wife had spaghetti DOP which she loved. Dessert was the waffle with ice cream which complimented our evening perfectly. Another outstanding night at Martoranos. - TTerryGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur Christmas Eve/birthday dinner was an exceptional treat for this party of 4. We made reservations for 7pm and were promptly seated. The ambiance is old time local family Italian American style- just the atmosphere that I was looking to share with my best friend and our two sons; neither of whom had ever experienced the magical “Feast of the Seven Fishes”, which Anthony’s was featuring this day (they also featured several non-fish and vegetarian dishes if you can’t or don’t like seafood/shellfish) Bread and dipping oils/butter were placed and quickly devoured by the crew. We ordered various appetizers including the fried calamari with a side cup of sauce and roasted grape tomatoes, buratta cheese with prosciutto, Caesar salad, beet and orange salad. Our entrees were varied , with a delicious pork ossobuco with rigatoni , beautifully braised and season; grouper francese with penne in lieu of the asparagus and mashed potatoes that were the sides; fiocchi alla carbonara (pear and cheese “purses” similar to small ravioli with a creamy carbonara. All delicious and warm. Desserts? Cannoli, lava cake with vanilla ice cream (like a deconstructed tortoni), amaretto di Saronno , and crème brûlée. Interestingly enough , no one selected the feast fish, which consisted of clams, mussels, mahi, shrimp, crab, lobster bits and scallops . I am in love with neighborhood mom and pops. The prices were not over the top, but the good and service were! Thanks, Anthony’s . Can’t wait for your Easter menu!More infoAnthony's Clam HousePrice: Expensive• Italian• Landings•4.7

- SSandraVIPFort Lauderdale •26 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024I feel awful for not remembering our server’s name as he played a major role in making our night here a very memorable one. We had reservations for 2 but sat at a booth because we planned on ordering a few tapas. The vibe was just right, there was live music being sang by a guy with his guitar and his partner on the piano. For drinks we kept it simple with a few shots of tequila and some margaritas. For tapas we had: -Pot Roast. This dish was warm, savory and succulent. The beef was braised to perfection and the veggies were well cooked. -Peel n Eat Shrimp. The butter sauce has old bay seasoning in it which gave it a nice kick! The herb garlic bread was wonderfully toasted, not too hard and soaked up the butter sauce nicely. -Bacon Wrapped Dates. The sweetness from the dates paired well with the bacon. The blue cheese on the inside was well melted and added a creaminess to each bite. -Filet Mignon Slider. No comment, my husband swallowed the slider whole. He says it was a 10/10. I believed him because he liked his fingers to get up the bit of aioli left on it. -Lamb Chops. Perfectly grilled. Nice grill marks on the outside and juicy on the inside. -Chicken n Waffles. Cooked to order. The waffle was still warm when it got to our table. The chicken breast tenders had a nice crunchy well seasoned batter on them. -Pork Belly. Wish they fried it a bit more but you could taste the marinade on the meat. The glaze was also a nice touch. -BBQ Ribs. The ribs were definitely fall off the bone. Only thing I would recommend is to get a good broil on the bbq sauce so it’s not too messy . We will definitely be back & have already told our friends to check this place out.More infoAmerican Tapas BarPrice: Moderate• American• Lauderdale by the Sea•4.8
