Best Fun Restaurants in Castleton / Keystone Crossings

We initially went to Ocean Prime to celebrate my wife’s birthday with no expectation other than her choice for seafood. Based on past experience I didn’t have this restaurant as one of my favorites. However, our experience today changed my opinion of this restaurant. The hostess set the tone for us with the heart felt greeting. It was sincere and my wife felt it. As we set at the table our waiter “Joe” greeted us enthusiastically which again made us feel that much more welcome. He provided an extensive overview of the menu and specials with great accuracy. Joe showcased his knowledge by allowing us to provide input and then giving recommendations to best suit our taste buds. Since it was cold outside I opted for coffee. I wasn’t prepared for the coffee I tasted. I pride myself on a good cup of coffee but this coffee was amazing! I asked Joe the name of the coffee he stated it was local provider by the name of Hubbard and Cravens. I have never of it but will surely remember and find out the location. This is the closet to one of the top Jamaician coffee I have tasted in years. Next, bread was brought to the table that just as tasty as any bread I have in long time. The pretzel bread was my favorite. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. As an appetizer I ordered the lobster bisque soup. Without question one of the top soups that rivals the lobster bisque soup I tasted often while living in Massachusetts. For the main course I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass that included broccolini, Pearl Onions, Potato Purée, and Truffle Vinaigrette. Sides included Mac n cheese and sautéed spinach. By this time I was full to capacity but paced in anticipation of what was to come for the grand finale. While waiting for the main course I drunk a pot of coffee and asked for another one and more bread. Although I didn’t have much room left I managed to taste the goodness of the Chilean Bass meal. Utterly melting in your mouth.

OMG, another amazing evening at Doc. B's!! Celebrated my birthday with my sister and enjoyed the ribs, while she had a healthy Wok Bowl that she totally enjoyed. Martinis were on special, so we indulged. Our server, Asia, was one of the best. So personable and polite. I will request her next time I go. I'm a frequent flyer, and having owned my own restaurant, I watch out for the details. Asia was flawless! The Manager came over and spent quality time with us and made sure everything was excellent. We dined at Sullivan’s Steakhouse at 4:15 on 12/25/24. The wait was reasonable, despite the crowd. Once seated, our server, Joshua C., took very good care of us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave great suggestions & kept our drinks filled. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, salads & our main courses without ever feeling rushed so they could seat another table—and didn’t leave until around 7:30. We’d be happy to return anytime…especially for a holiday dinner. After trying Eddie Merlot’s last year for both Thanksgiving & Christmas—this experience was very much above & beyond! Unlike Merlot’s—they did not run out of popular appwtizers or mains. Highly recommended!

Food was fantastic! Reservation was at 6:15 pm on Christmas Eve, we arrived at 6:05 then seated at 6:15 pm which shocked me! Restaurant was extremely busy, once again the food was served fast. First time visit to the restaurant and probably will not be my last! Thank you!

We had a great experience dining here. We love fogo but the service here far exceeds that. We arrived 30 mins before our reservation in hopes to make it to Christmas Eve mass on time and the hosts went above and beyond to seat us 15 mins early on such a busy night. You never had to wait as there was always a server there before you finished your last bite. Drinks were kept replenished. Best of all…as they were clearing our plates, I asked if I could have a small to go box to take a little piece of the leftovers home to our dog for a Christmas treat. They quickly cleared our plates and happily brought me back the to go container. We were surprised to find it was packed full of freshly sliced meat. The waiter told us to tell her was a special feast for Christmas. :) How thoughtful. I was blown away and she definitely enjoyed! The food was pretty comparable to Fogo but the service far exceeded.
