Best Waterfront Restaurants in Foggy Bottom

Our server SJ was so good! Food was great as usual. French toast was a hit. Drinks were good and just as SJ recommended.

Our waiter was not very attentive. We saw him when he brought the drinks, food, and bill.

We were Celebrating our Son Birthday and New Year’s Day combined event. Larry was very gracious with explaining the Menu and the Appetizer Favorites. The Lobster Risotto was moist and delicious. The Backyard Burger and the Roasted Chicken were Perfect, paired with a Coke Zero and a Glass of White Wine. To top it off, Larry was very kind to keep the event low-key and place a Bday candle and a Birthday Chocolate sign on the Sticky Pudding which was out of this world, and my Son finished without sharing!!!😊 I loved the Cappuccino because it was so light and fluffy, and perfect size. Will definitely visit again for upcoming special events. Great location and Fantastic decor.

Excellent seafood and accompaniments with everything served efficiently. Nice wine selection with range of price points. Only negative was white wine served initially at too high temperature and noise of plate gathering from party group was loud. The overall atmosphere diminished by the outside covering (apparently for New Year’s Eve)

They refilled drinks without being asked, timed each course perfectly, and even surprised us with a small complimentary treat when they learned we were celebrating a special occasion. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and service excel at such a high level, but Limani has mastered the art of hospitality.
