Best Vegan Restaurants in Near Southside

It’s been a minute since we had been to Blue Sushi but it did NOT disappoint!! I’m not sure how many courses of rolls and appetizers we had but each one was better than the last!! It’s always busy so be sure and get a reservation! Do not park next to it you will get towed valet is right across the little street or parking around the corner! Service was beyond expectation we truly had a wonderful night!!

Had a great night connecting with a good friend' over delicious food. The curry with air fried chicken was amazing and didn't disappoint just like any other food I have picked there. This place has great GF and V food items so it is an awesome place to meet for dinner!

Al Biernat's for lunch is a great thing, since most of the upscale restaurants don't open for lunch any more. We were there on a Thursday at 11:30 and by noon it was BUSY! Wine list is extensive and affordable. Service (Marco) was absolutely wonderful. While we ate, we noticed all the servers keeping an eye on their tables. That's a refreshing difference from so many places, where they congregate and talk among themselves without regard to the folks they're serving. Food was really great too - perfectly prepared halibut for the wife, a chicken salad sandwich for me. Both were wonderful. We hadn't gone to Al Biernat's in a long time, but we realized what we've been missing. We will make this a regular place for lunch.

This was chef-wine dinner. Jett Mora, the executive chef, prepared an amazing seven course dinner to go with seven wines. Service was excellent and always a pretty view. Quiet roomy venue. It doesn't get any better. Thank you Jeff, The Modern and Eric. Eric is the winemaker at Van Duzer Vineyards, the wines.

Great food and lovely quiet atmosphere. Maybe with a different server we would’ve had an even better experience.
