Best Vegan Restaurants in Granite Bay

My wife and I came to Omakase Por Favor for a Valentine’s Day date. The restaurant is small, but that helps the intimacy feel of the restaurant. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and given the option of still or sparkling water to start. We were then given the regular menu and the Valentine’s Day special omakase menu. We opted for the Valentine’s Day special. It included a bottle of wine and a seven course tasting menu. It was pretty pricy at $375 for the couple, but it was the most incredible seafood I have ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. My wife, who doesn’t care much for seafood, agreed that it was delicious and well worth the money. I would come back again and again and can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic job all around by everybody involved!

Valentine’s Day dinner. 615 reservations. Arrived at 545 to have a drink in the bar first. Checked in was told they could seat us in the area we selected but we were early so needed to wait. Bar was flooded with patrons but the hostess checked and a table was just getting cleaned so we got our requested table at 600. Jennifer was prompt with our waters and drinks. She was super busy but provided excellent service. The Special menu was a little pricey but the Lobster was great as was the prime rib. Polished it off with Strawberry shortcake for dessert. Jennifer was helpful with aperitif drink selection and quick to clear table of empty plates. Overall probably the best dinner experience we’ve had in quite awhile. Our compliments to the entire staff. Thanks.

Ian was an outstanding server. We had some questions about the beer and he brought over a taster and it was a great experience! Will definitely be coming back.

This was the only time in my life I was sad I couldn’t eat more food because of all of was SO GOOD!!! And the gauchos were on it with the service!!! It was very impressive especially on a busy Valentine’s Day evening. Fun experience and excellent food! What more could you ask for? I tried 15 different cuts of meat, but that pineapple and roasted cheese with honey were my favorite! YUM!!!

Our server Gwendlyn was so attentive and smart, she knew the menu well. We were seated promptly and they accommodated my wheelchair well. The food was great, my only complaint was that the cheeseburger in the picture on the menu had shredded lettuce and I was really looking forward to that, weird I know but I was and it did not come that way. So that was a bit of a bummer. Overall tho, we were very pleased with our experience. I mentioned to the lady manager that I collected coasters and she went out of her way to pick up a bunch for me. That was very sweet!
