The hotel has an excellent restaurant and it showed on the food they provided We had a festive tea that was £10 more than standard so not sure what the difference was The plain scones were as good as any I’ve eaten and the cakes were beautifully presented. No way to eat it all so you get a nice little box to take the surplus away with you Highly recommendedMore infoThe Slaughters Manor HousePrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Gloucester•4.2

Just felt it was a little on the expansive side for what it was, but everywhere is expensive these days. The bill for 4 people was just shy of £300 for lunch. Only had one drink each ( one of them wine others were soft drinks), so £75 each for 3 courses was for us quite pricey. We would return, but only for special occasion.More infoThe Ivy Montpellier Brasserie, CheltenhamPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Cheltenham•4.5
