- JJohnSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFireFly is amazing! We've been going there for years, not very often but we should probably go more. We enjoyed an amazing day-after-Valentine's Day dinner with excellent champagne and wine. Food is always top-of-the-line gourmet yet familiar comfort food. The chicken is always amazing and I ventured to try the Moqueca Baiana with Rockfish, Shrimp and Scallops which was amazing. A Noe Valley institution, highly recommend.More infoFirefly RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Noe Valley•4.9

- SSherryGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025I am not vegan but wanted an experience for my vegan friend during our visit in SF from the east coast. This place is a delight. I had the pasta a la vodka and she had the squash pizza. Delicious! The vibe is airy, relaxed and sophisticated. So glad we tried this place!More infoWildseedPrice: Moderate• Vegan• Marina / Cow Hollow / Presidio•4.6
- SSteveCleveland / Akron / Canton •10 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 4, 2025Spiazzo has a very warm ambiance, made really human by the warm welcome of the staff. A really broad menu of Italian favorites, complemented by specials never fails to please me and my out of town guests. I an eat here frequently since I have not found a better Italian restaurant this side of Milano. A very pleasant dining experience without the pomp and circumstance of of the downtown big name restaurants. Great value for great food.More infoSpiazzo RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• Forest Hill / West Portal•4.6
- AAnneSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 19, 2025A somewhat different breakfast entree - smoked polenta with pork, cilantro and seasonings. Delicious and unique. Almost better still - the best hot tea I've ever had in a restaurant. The tea itself was superior English breakfast blend but it was served truly HOT in a double-walled metal teapot with loose tea leaves infused in a basket, and the second large ceramic cup of tea was as hot and perfectly brewed as the first. As an inveterate tea-drinker, believe me when I say this was a completely singular presentation in my (usually somewhat disappointing) experience. THANK YOU.More infoVillonPrice: Expensive• Californian• Downtown / Union Square•4.2
