- DDavidSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was great, but I was a bit put off by the automatic service charge. We were a party of two and automatically charged 20%. I am accustomed to 20% for parties of 6-8 or more but not for two. Bombay Club has always had great service and on those cases, I typical provide 25 to 30% tip. However, since 20% was automatic, and not allowing me to provide a tip percentage (say ranging between 15 & 30 percent) based on my experience, I chose to not provide a 25-30% tip. I think this is a missed opportunity for your waiter staff. DavidMore infoBombay ClubPrice: Expensive• Indian• Downtown•4.8

- EElisabethVIPWashington, D.C. Area •41 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were so impressed with this restaurant. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. I was especially impressed that they have found just ther ight volume for the music; loud enough to add to the ambiance but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. Will definitely return.More infoDauphine’sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.6
- SStephanieAsheville / Western North Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoElizabeth’s was an amazing experience overall! Every dish was presented with a detailed explanation and with care. All of the courses were carefully and meticulously crafted to bring out delicious, complex flavors. The food was also beautiful to look at with an artistic flare. This restaurant was a very special treat on my recent trip to DC. More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9
- AAnthonyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025At $120 a person without a tip, this was a treat for me and my family. I'd only booked it because I had seen that the experience also came with a white house ornament and I was disappointed to see that they no longer include this as a benefit. Moreover, they seated our group right by the main entrance to the hotel, which would be fine had it not been winter and being met with a rush of frigid air every single time someone entered or left the hotel (which happened without fail at least 1-2 times every five minutes). A member of our group even wore her heavy winter coat the entire time because it was so cold where we were seated. Finally, at times the wait staff was nowhere to be found, so there were a handful of times throughout the evening when I needed new silverware or waters and had to wait an unusually long amount of time. The space is stunning but this is absolutely not worth the expense or the physical discomfort and inattentive service.More infoThe St Regis DC - Afternoon teaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown•4.4
