Best Vegan Restaurants in Dana Point / Monarch Beach

It is no surprise that Jack's is still going strong after all these years...attentive service, good food and ambience, and Jack is quite the statesman and orchestrator of it all.

The Chart House in Dana Point is always a wonderful dining experience. From the excellent service, to the delectable food, coupled with a fantastic view. It just doesn’t get any better than this. 5 Stars

We enjoyed Saturday Brunch for my wife's 50th birthday. The food and service was excellent and we appreciate the "pastries of gratitude" to make the celebaration even better.

We went to Stella's last night for Happy Hour. It's a beautiful restaurant but not fussy. Happy Hour is served only at the bar or at 3 tall tables so seating is sort of limited for the Happy Hour but we sat at one of the taller tables and it was great. The HH menu is extensive. There are about 23 items listed for whatever mood you might be in--seafood, salad, pastas, etc. We ordered the carpaccio, penne Bolognese, crab cakes and the scallops. Everything was delicious! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We all ordered drinks and they, too, were perfectly crafted. We were very impressed and will definitely be back.

I went to Mayfield while visiting my parents for the holidays and celebrating a promotion at work. Expectations were high given that I looked at the menu online and thought I would happily eat everything on jt...and they were met and exceeded! One great indicator: 3 days later, my father, who is usually not impressed by restaurants, is still regularly raving to relatives and friends about the Moroccan carrots and grilled broccolini. The baba ganoush and date labneh were amazing to start with (along with the house-baked foccacia), and the beef tagine croquettes and mussels with n'duja also impressed. Dessert was a smooth, silky chocolate crémeux with orange/vanilla-infused olive oil to drizzle on top...just the chefs kiss. Service was friendly and helpful and enthusiastic, and the vibe was cool and relaxed. I look forward to returning on future visits!
