Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in London

Had a lovely round table, ordered the vegi breakfast which is very generous - 2 eggs ( which were perfectly cooked ) spinach steamed, feta with chilli - yummy, mushroom, beans, avocado smash - beautifully seasoned, potato patty in bread crumbs and sour dough toast - all of it delicious and filling. All washed down with fresh orange juice and delicious coffee. It’s fresh, tasty and filling. The staff are so lovely - attentive without hovering, nothing is to much trouble! Great value for money - the whole experience was a joy.

We enjoyed Blacklock Soho. It's novel as it's in a basement and it's all about great meat. Service was fantastic. Great friendly welcome and we found the explanation and help with ordering valuable and ended up with 4 empty plates. Between us we had lamb and steaks and a selection of sides. Excellent food. I was surprised that the broccoli and walnut dish was a cold salad type slaw but it was tasty.

We had a very nice evening at L'Escargot, they were welcoming and the waiter was quite knowledgeable and helpful. The food here is cooked and presented at a high level, it is easy to recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic Italian restaurant Super friendly people So easy to book and accommodating our host was more than happy to take the time to explain the various dishes on the menu and making recommendations We started with the carpaccio and burrata which was outstanding and then mains of truffle pasta and steak which were also superb In fact the experience was so good that we are returning tonight for our last meal in London! We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this lovely restaurant for quality of its food, service and ambience Try it you won’t be disappointed!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was great and fresh. The beef wellington was great and the pork ribs were massive serving and tasty.
