Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in West Indy

The food was good, but the filet wasn't as tender as as it usually is. The waitress was a little absent at times.

I took customers, and they all loved it. Such a great storied history. Fabulous food. Excellent service.

Of St Elmo’s, Hyde Park, Capital Grille, and Ruth’s Chris, this is the best place to get a fantastic steal and drinks in Indianapolis. The drinks were great and I loved the steak and dessert. Popovers were good as well. Nothing was bad. Service was great. we went to Mel’s downstairs after and that place is the bomb. GO HERE NOW!!

Everything about this restaurant was excellent Our server Anthony was personable, attentive without hovering and always on time. The ambience was perfect. The food was excellent and served efficiently. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and everyone seemed happy to be there and to serve. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends. I gave 5 stars but if I could give 10 I would.

We splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.
