Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Waukegan

Given our long-standing friendship and patronage, it's natural to feel comfortable entrusting them to deliver their signature excellence, resulting in outstanding service, quality, and culinary delights for our family celebration of 9 for Thanksgiving. Marko consistently delivers flawless service, and Scottie, in his managerial capacity, ensured our family's requirements were met, taking particular care with our two elderly parents in wheelchairs. Additionally, other skilled servers, including Ryan and Tyler, provided intermittent check-ins. If you’re thinking about dining here, do it, you won’t be disappointed!!

This was our first visit and it was outstanding! We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was excellent, charming and very helpful. The food was unique, in our experience, beautifully presented, and delicious! Wait staff was attentive without being a distraction. It was the best local dining experience we have had in years and we can’t wait to return.

The ambience is wonderful and the food is excellent. The menu is varied with several affordable options. The hazelnut crusted red snapper is amazing! Stevens is excellent for special occasions and a weeknight out. The service is also terrific.

Absolutely delicious!! The beet agnolotti was amazing and the rigatoni was delicious too. Highly recommend the onion dip!!

It’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites!  make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being available
