The eildgame tartare was beyond description, best tartare I've ever eaten. The octopus, done in a Spanish bbq style, was a little spicy for me, but cooked perfectly. The Ceasars salad was the real deal, with white anchovies. The entres stole the show. Charred Elk Chops were best I've ever had, thick, cooked rare+, at my request, brocollini and other complimentary sides. Soooooooo goid. The Red Trout was equally good, and had a wonderful accompanying side of creamed corn, real hominy and other vegetables. Haven't had good hominy in decades. This was the real thing. Dessert was a beautiful presentation of chocolate mousse.. and it was the crowning glory. The hostess brought us to the seat shown in the photo without even asking for it. We went on Valentine’s Day and the restless busy and she went out of her way to make our special nigh even better. The server was excellent, the food was outstanding, the manger came over to say hello and talk to us.
