- BBeverlyGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was very good. The ambiance was lovely, quite festive! We wished that we were offered a glass of wine, since drinking a whole bottle would not have been wise since we drove from the Cape.It also would have made the $50 prix fix a little more of a value. I guessed, upon reflection, we could have gotten one from the bar but it wasn't offered? Our visit was slightly tainted because service was a lacking. I said things a couple of times but the server did not take the tIme to understand what I was trying to convey. For example: I asked for greek salad, but he was off and gone before I could ask for dressing on the side. Also, some oil had spilled and I asked if he could wipe it up before setting down dessert but he turned and took the dessert away!?? We did feel rushed, so that took away from the pleasantly if the visit.More infoThe Venetian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Hingham•4.4

- BBridgetGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDelicious!! Tight quarters with the tables but that’s every North end restaurant. Delicious food and drinks but they don’t serve desert. Need to go to their bakery next door but given it was Christmas Eve Eve, there were lines out of every bakery door!! Good service and not bad prices. They have valet ($30) but didn’t realize and my husband dropped us off and parked in the lot down the street. They won’t seat you until your full party is together. Overall would definitely recommend.More infoTrattoria Il PaninoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North End•4.5
- JJustineNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoImpressed by this establishment. We wanted fine dining in Boston and we got it. I had the halibut and it was amazing. My husband had a steak, also amazing. My daughter and son were able to slit the heritage chicken and it was plenty. Sides are shareable. My husband’s brown sugar old fashioned was Pinterest worthy. I had an espresso martini x 2 with amazing taste and a frosted glass which kept it cold for the little time that it lasted. Ambiance is elegant. They were well decorated for Christmas. Coat check was a nice surprise. The service was impeccable. We will return.More infoGrill 23 & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Back Bay•4.8
