Dinner with the family , the food was good , different flavors , a little rushed service -but overall a good experience . Upon setting the bill I was charged a service tip of 40% , which I will dispute with Amex. I did not authorize such a charge. Costumer be aware, check the final tip charge. That practice is illegal, fraudulent and in poor business image !

Beautiful place; very French decor (having been there several times). Very nice wine list and excellent service. Small sized plates and hors d’oeuvres. 6 oz filet was ok. Only negative thing was the bad sewage smell in the bathroom but I think they helped with candles. Lovely and romantic atmosphere otherwise

We were fortunate to have the sommelier assist us in selecting an exquisite bottle of Pinot Noir that perfectly complemented our dinner. The food was simply delicious, showcasing the high standards Mastro's is known for. The ambience was elegant and sophisticated, truly reflecting the affluent atmosphere of Houston. I highly recommend Mastro’s Steakhouse for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience. It’s the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy a fantastic meal with loved ones. We left with full hearts and satisfied appetites, already looking forward to our next visit!

Steak 48 exceeded all my expectations, providing a dining experience that was nothing short of phenomenal. The highlight of the evening was the impeccable service from Ryjane. We had our Annual Family Christmas Dinner at LA Colonial after a show downtown. The food was amazing - great menu, great wine/cocktail menu and the service was very good. The restaurant is very beautiful- it was a busy evening and I'm hoping to go back at a less busy time to really enjoy the ambiance. Our family loved the experience!
