- LLyndaVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •54 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFantastic experience for a dinner the weekend after Christmas - don't miss the decorations of Old Sac and then having a delightful dinner at the Pilot House restaurant. My friend and i had the Caesar salad (just the right amount of garlic and dressing) and the short rib fettucine. OMG - the sauce and mushrooms with it - SO good. Ended with a cheesecake and tiramisu. A memorable dinner with different, elegant atmosphere than so many other restaurantsMore infoDelta King - Pilothouse RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Californian• Sacramento•3.9
- DDavidVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe Grange is my go-to breakfast/brunch experience in Downtown Sacramento for a few reasons. First, although the prices at the Grange are a bit higher than those at the typical breakfast/brunch spots in the area, the short wait times and great service completely make up for the higher prices. Second, their two-egg breakfast, French toast, and pancakes are consistently good. I can expect a great meal every time. They used to have incredible biscuits, but they no longer appear on the menu. Hopefully, these biscuits will make a return. In the meantime, I’ll have to settle for an English muffin. Third, the service is fantastic. This is the area that sets this restaurant apart from most other locations. The servers here seem to pay more attention than at different places. They check in from time to time but don’t hover. I never feel rushed here. It's worth checking out.More infoGrange Bar & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sacramento•4.6
- VvinceVIPGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat experience from the beginning to the end. Hostess sat us promptly. Manager Matt greeted us at the table and which really set the mood for our entire dining experience. Our server, Zach was celebrating his own birthday and had great knowledge of the menu. He provided excellent service and had a great sense of humor. This may be one of our new favorite spots!More infoEcho & Rig Steakhouse & Butcher Shop - SacramentoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Sacramento•4.7
- SsteveTahoe / Reno Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe stayed at the Kimpton Sawyer nearby on Christmas Eve and had our dog w us. Polanco was one of the few restaurants that was both dog friendly and open that evening. Although they closed early (understandably) we were able to get 5:00pm reservations and sat outside in their covered area with outside heaters and we were completely comfortable. Although we were the only outside diners, they provided excellent service. The food is truly exceptional too. We’ve eaten they before and every time we were all very happy with our meal choices. OpenTable enabled us to secure the reservation (somewhat last minute) so we were had no worries for our Christmas Eve dinner plans.More infoPolanco CantinaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Sacramento•4.8
- VVallaHawaii •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024The food and service at the Firehouse is consistently above average, way above average. The ambience in the main dining room is perfect for us, with music that is pleasant. Most restaurants play music so loud that you either don’t go back, or you run away from. At the Firehouse you can actually carry on a conversation. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is very attentive. We look forward to dining at the Firehouse again and again. Thank you Firehouse for being so reliable.More infoThe Firehouse RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
