Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Morgan Hill

The place, like so many of its peers, is loud though my wife and I were able to have a clear conversation. The food was excellent. Our server was fairly attentive. When we asked that someone clean the tablecloth after the meal and before the dessert, the server seemed surprised but gamely wiped the crumbs into his hand. This is a real peeve of mine: On r upon a time, in good restaurants like Ladera, the server or a colleague would clean the tablecloth. Only once in the last decade or so has this happened anywhere in Silicon Valley—and that was recently at Meyhouse in Sunnyvale.

Unbelievable, such a wonderful experience for us… we celebrated our son’s 19th birthday and Jeffrey was absolutely AMAZING - from the beginning to the end! We were so lucky to have Chef’s Table, enjoyed the atmosphere and the symphony that is Chef Peter and Chef de Cuisine Luis’ kitchen. Everything IMPECCABLE… THANK YOU! On the plus side, our server was very attentive. The staff was friendly. I’d say that’s what made it a 4 star experience rather than a 3 star. However, overall the food was pretty average particularly for the price point. Quite an eclectic menu. We were seated in the back room thankfully, as the main dining room is quite loud and the tables are very crowded together. Too many tables for the space really. The patio seating area seemed a nice option in warmer weather.

Had such a wonderful experience. The staff is very attentive and on point with knowledge of the food and wines. Brings out the courses perfectly as they reset between courses. Never had to ask for refills or needed to ask for anything. The ambiance is romantic and comfortable. We shared the lamb Rib-lets and salmon caviar belinis which were perfectly prepared and the portions were perfect so that we were not too full to enjoy our entrees. I had the Salmon and my wife had the filet. Again cooked and portions were perfect. Our server suggested the Sancerre paired with the my Salmon and the Faust Cabernet for my wife. Both were great wines that neither of us had enjoyed before. We will definitely return to dine again very soon.

It was our first time at Nobu, and we weren't sure what to expect. We were impressed by both the food, and the service. The food quality was amazing. Each dish they brought out was like a little piece of art. The flavors were varied, unique, and delicious. It was one of the most enjoyable meals I can remember. Every Nobu employee we encountered was very friendly and professional. Our server, Andy, did a great job of guiding us through the overwhelming choices on the menu. "Gonzo" Gonzales made sure our drinks were topped up, and dishes were cleared away at just the right moment, without interrupting our conversation. This is a high-end dining experience, and priced accordingly. If you love food, and want a truly amazing experience, give Nobu Palo Alto a try.
