Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Allston

We had a wonderful brunch to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. From the spanakopita croissant to inventive egg breakfast dishes to the delicious dips and marvelous honey cake - we will definitely be going back. The ambiance is warm and sophisticated. We had a perfect boozy brunch celebration.

Grill 23 on Valentine's Day was as spectacular as usual. We started out with the Seafood Tower, had a French Onion Soup, followed it with a Wedge Salad, and then the Rib Eye. Food was awesome as ever and the bread basket was filled with great goodies such as corn bread, raisin pumpernickel, and more. The extensive wine list provided a lot of choices and we started with a Paul Hobbs and ended with a Screaming Eagle.

Clayton was great. Have come multiple times and will continue to come back. Carl? (Chef) does a great job - food is always well-crafted, flavorful and creative. Staff is kind, professional and genuine. Good spacing on tables, great cocktails/wine pairings. Definitely the spot to go to!

First visit to Pammy's to celebrate a b-day. Service was wonderful, thoughtful tips, frequent check ins, great energy. There were a few menu items that we needed to clarify before ordering as we were unfamiliar with items...but all part of the fun. The food was outstanding, I tried the lobster with squid ink gnocchi ...exceptional! The restaurant is kind of cozy...small floor plan with a communal center table. It all works, but if you have a larger group..book ahead to get one of the separate side tables.

Excellent food. Comfortable pleasant atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. Totally worth the cost!
