Just completing its first year on the dining scene in Telluride, Kazahana offers classic Japanese cuisine prepared by Chef Naoki Takahashi and his team. Sourcing the freshest seafood from around the world, the menu includes sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, chirashi, tartar and ceviche, as well as a selection of salads and hot entrees.     Sidework is a Telluride Jewel! The newly renovated interior looks amazing….it adds to its cozy, intimate dinner vibes. The drinks, food and ambience are hard to beat. The bartender makes the most incredible drinks, the food is delicious and the service is unbeatable! Go!

    Our server,Peter was excellent, very attentive and made good recommendations. I had the crispy shrimp and calamari and my husband had the seared scallops. Our entrees were smoked duck breast and a filet with mushrooms for him. Unfortunately we had a touch of altitude sickness so we ended up taking some of it to go. The lighting and music were perfect. We would highly recommend as everything is chef imagined with perfect companions and plating. On a happier note we had an amazing breakfast the next morning of all of the above. The service and food make this a worthwhile choice.
