- MMelodySan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined todayExcellent service all the time, and everything tasted great, although it did seem like maybe a little too much salt this time. I like salt, so I didn’t complain, but it was noticeable and we dine here often and this was the first time I experienced that. Just a note for the chef. We love it here and love the roasted salmon main course, pasta with bolognese sauce, and margarita pizza. You’ll like the family outing location with little shops, free parking, and ice cream shop. - MMichelleVIPSan Diego •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe adore the Pony Room. Chris, our server, and his team do a tremendous job making us feel welcome, helping us with menu selections, and anticipating our every need. The food last night was outstanding and we enjoyed the seasonal drinks as well. The live music is a special touch, though we sit outside where the music is a bit muted and easier for us to carry on conversation. Rancho Valencia is especially beautiful this time of year with the holiday declarations and lights. Worth the splurge!More infoThe Pony RoomPrice: Very Expensive• American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8
- KKimberleySan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThere were two of us at Jake’s last night for dinner. We started with a couple of appetizers and each of us had a margarita. Well, the appetizers were so fantastic that we just stuck with a variety of appetizers (6 total) all eve. I highly recommend the crab cake and mussels appetizers!! It doesn’t get better than these. Also, I want to mention that our our server was AMAZING. We are both gluten-free and he was so attentive to that requirement that he graciously went to the kitchen several times to ensure that all was GF. He even suggested ways to alter a dish to make it GF and then instructed the kitchen in ways to accommodate our needs. A very enjoyable evening!More infoJake's Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.8
