Best Seasonal Restaurants in Puerto Vallarta

A great restaurant, delicious food and gracious service.

I have been coming to PVR/NVO for ten years and I am embarrassed to say that every time I crossed the river into the Romantica Zone I felt “under the bridge, down by very little water?” WHY would I bother to check it out?? How sad that I almost missed out on one of the finest Dining experiences I have found! Please, take the time to explore, and give this Establishment a try…they are now at the Top of my “go to” List!

Because of logistical circumstances, we found ourselves having three meals at La Palapa today, breakfast, lunch and then dinner. Each meal was surprisingly excellent. The service is very good and the ambience both inside and out is terrific. 

Wasn’t expecting premium cuisine but was pleasantly surprised. Food was exceptional and the value was good. A little pricey for PVR but competitive with nearby eateries. The staff was very friendly but not overbearing.

We LOVE Daquiri Dick's and have a sunset dinner on the beach every time we visit PV. The food is always top quality and beautifully prepared. Service is exemplary. On this occasion, we decided to have a bunch of the appetizers and one entree and share everything, tapas-style. It was wonderful! The shrimp, fish, and veggie items were fantastic. The corn "ribs" were fun and delicious. For dessert, the Key Lime pie came with meringue instead of whipped cream which was very good, and the flourless chocolate cake was divine. Oh - and definitely try one of their daquiris - MMMMM!
