Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! Dr David Celio

Arden never disappoints. This little gem of a spot offers seasonal cuisine, French inspired, but completely accessible. Nicholas is AMAZING (he will provide you with some truly amazing wine pairings) and the chef's combinations are exquisitely balanced, creative, and palette pleasing. See the chef expediting at the small counter and knowing that everything will be perfect is an experience not often found at this price point. This is a place where we are made to feel valued and welcomed, and the food leaves you contented and excited for the next culinary journey. I cannot say enough good things about Arden.
