The Crab Pot Restaurant & Bar is a fun and casual restaurant specializing in delicious seafood. What makes this particular restaurant famous is its incredible Seafeast. There are five different varieties of Seafeasts but they all have one thing in common: giant steamed buckets of seafood that are dumped directly onto the table. The most popular is The Alaskan which comes with King crab, Snow crab, Dungeness crab, steamed clams, shrimp, Pacific mussels, andouille sausage, red potatoes and corn on the cob. For those looking for a more traditional entrée, the Crab Pot has a wide variety of options. The rest of the menu is made up of fried seafood, grilled seafood, chicken, burgers and sandwiches. While the seafood options are delicious, there are plenty of beef and chicken dishes as well like the colossal bacon cheeseburger and grilled chicken with seasonal vegetables.

Broadway and Pine Ave., King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily. We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.Welcome to the House that Seafood Built.Come gather with us, celebrate, relax and enjoy a seafood dining experience of high quality, comfort, service and value.

The food was outstandingly fresh, high quality, and creatively prepared and served. The price fixe menu of many courses seemed to climb a bell curve, with the least interesting being the shrimp chip and dip starter ‘snack’ , climbing to a magnificent crescendo with the the scallop and mussel small plate, and an equally exquisite plate of the freshest sliced kampachi. Each plate was beautiful, graced with curated vegetables, flowers, and delicate sauces that completed, never overpowered. Our only complaint: we found the dessert disappointing in flavor, appearance and texture: a choux pastry ball with a heavy dull filling, sitting on top of a scatter of what resembled stale cocoa puff cereal pieces. I would have traded it for the rich creamy mascapone ice cream served earlier, sans the caviar topping. The service was outstanding: gracious, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and well orchestrated. Overall we had a fabulous dining experience, exceeding our highest expectations. In most every way, including price, dining here is a special occasion; we could not understand how or why most diners we observed were wearing gym clothes, T-shirts and jeans, sneakers, fuzzy slippers. What’s next: dining in our underwear? How about a dress code?!

So cute with all the holiday decorations! At first we were seated outside in the drizzle but they moved us to an apartment door table which was so much warmer. Great service & tasty food. The drinks were strong & delicious with cute rubber ducks, a plastic reindeer, umbrellas…..the works. We loved the experience:)
