This was my first time visiting Charleston, SC, and I’m a foodie by trade! When I was tasked to find a good steakhouse near the water for a reasonable price, I found Burwell’s Stone Fire Grill. According to the locals, this was the place to go. So I booked my group reservation and let it ride. We arrived shortly before our scheduled time, and was greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. Our server was awesome. Miley was her name. She knew the menu, was happy and upbeat, and made some great recommendations. We did shots of bourbon for the table - great choice! When it was time to order, I decided to go with the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and the Signature Hot Rock Duo of Filet and Wagyu. It was all amazing. Fast forward to the dessert menu, and what do you know - more great choices to pick from. So we each ordered a separate item from the dessert list and shared around the table. All in all, this place is a gem. Burwell’s certainly deserves a 5 star rating. This is going to be a favorite place to visit when I return to the Charleston area.
