Working with seasonal British and Italian produce, each dish takes inspiration from traditional Italian flavours and methods, with a creative approach. Transforming this daytime bakery to a lively neighbourhood restaurant, with small plates and pastas designed for sharing. Our wine list utilises a mixture of well and lesser known grapes; which when combined with innovative and often low intervention methods, create a diverse wine offering to pair harmoniously with our food. For any bookings over 6 people we require a set menu, contact bookings@pophamsbakery.com for more information.

The Water House Project is a modern British tasting menu experience in Bethnal Green, East London.Chef Gabriel Waterhouse opened The Water House Project with his wife, Patricia in Bethnal Green in Autumn 2021 aiming to bridge the gap between fine dining elegance and a more relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.

Here the team serve a seasonally evolving tasting menu which changes every three months. We rely on local, seasonal ingredients using these when at their best.

We believe in using small amounts of ethically and sustainably reared meat and fish, and partnering with suppliers who share in our values. Our drink pairings are made up of either wines, sourced from small scale producers or a non-alcoholic pairing of teas, tonics and ferments made by our kitchen team.Seasons Discovery menu - Wednesday 7pm & Saturday 1pm(£125pp including alcoholic or non alcoholic pairing)Seasons Signature menu - Thursday - Saturday 7pm(£155pp including alcoholic or non alcoholic pairing)

The Hemingway is a good quality pub that serves delicious no-nonsense grub. You can see every dish being made to order in our open plan kitchen- no soggy microwaved frozen meals here! We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. Our menu is a mix of classic crowd pleasers and regularly changing seasonal dishes, which means you'll always find something to tempt your taste buds (even if you're in every day!).We are a pub, not a cocktail bar and while we make a blinding Bloody Mary, and will happily mix you an Aperol Spritz or Negroni, we don't do Pina Coladas. That said, we are extremely proud of our wide range of spirits from around the globe, which (where possible) we offer at affordable prices. The wine list has been chosen to provide a simple but high quality selection that goes as well with our food as it does with some good company.

Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. Roman Road, Bow, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are just a stroll away from your weekly treat of freshly made pasta and wine from independent producers. Egle Loit, a trained pasta chef, has previously popped up mostly around East and North London, creating a buzz with her pre-restaurant residency at Vestry House Museum in 2023.Founder of Darling’s cares dearly about the craft that fresh pasta making requires. “One can turn humble ingredients into abundance with skill,” shares the restaurateur. Darling’s is designed to be an open space to be shared between the guests and the team, therefore there are no barriers between the service area and the dining area. You’ll find yourself connecting by enjoying your meal at the shared table. Those, who like to hide away, can still do it at separate tables.

A frequently changing tasty menu where you might not know what many of the words mean on the menu but the flavour combinations are always amazing. Good drinks, great food and friendly service.

The food was outstanding. The only minor comment I have is that the menu was in Italian and so we did not know what to order for a little while before the waitress explained it to us. Other than that everything was brilliant.

In a year of enjoying some great meals, Silo has consistently delivered some of the very best. Every time we’ve visited, the experience has been flawless. Course after course of innovative, flavoursome, beautiful food. Tonight’s was the best yet. This places excites me. The evolution we’ve seen is amazing. New twists on existing dishes take each to an even higher level. And their value-driven, ‘no waste’ ethos is outstanding. Our favourite restaurant this year. So looking forward to many more meals in 2025.

I loved the place and the huge table looking to the kitchen. The decoration and the atmosphere. But I was a bit disappointed with the food, that I found too saucy and with associations that I didn’t think so interesting. Also, we were advised to order at least 5 different plates to share and that was way too much! So I don’t think I will recommend. Sorry !
