- DDianneNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoFresh oysters on half shell excellent! Mixed green salad w/ raspberry vainagrette also very fresh. Bread tasted old. It uscusually bery good. Brussel sprouts not my favorite. Unappetizing on plate. Rice pilaf was tired...like it had been under warming lights too long. Seemed they were out of potatoes. Lobster was dry and flavorless...a disappointment for the price...sorry. I have had very good lobster in the past. Tonight, not so much. Champagne was fine. Chardonnay we ordered, very good...extra. not included in special. . Dessert and dessert drinks also good. Dessert also not included. I would not recommend this particular special. Way overpriced for what it included. Overall, food not up to Anthony's usual standards, at least what I have experienced in the past. Still my daughter and I.had a good celebratory evening together. Just wish the food had been better.More infoAnthony's HomePort - EdmondsPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Edmonds•4.6

- JJSeattle / Eastern Washington •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024ELDR is a welcome, new dining experience to the neighborhood. We visited two weeks after its formal opening. The char, smoke and service are core to the scheme... and this scheme is working. Our table, served family style, ordered an initial bread service, each listed vegetable, except for sunchokes, and three entrees: sable, sausage, and gnocchi. Best dish: the sable served over chard had a perfect char and sauce. Runner ups: the cabbage and also the butternut squash. The latter has a spicy kick. Regret: Not ordering the sunchokes. Oh well, there's a next time. Pro tip: Order a bread service to sop up the delightful sauces. We ordered a second service to do just that... and inspired a trend with the table next. Last, the dining chairs are super comfy. Get your friends/family organized and reserve a table.More infoEldrPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Ballard•4.9
