Best Seasonal Restaurants in Brixham

Although it was a busy Sunday lunchtime, from the moment we arrived to the time we left, the service was excellent. We ordered the roast beef and lamb with cauliflower cheese and it was all delicious. We had coffees and the affogato to finish which were all served promptly and did not disappoint. Would recommend highly and will return again very soon.

Really enjoyed our new year’s day evening dinner at Bayards Cove inn. Very zen, cosy with excellent and attentive service. We all really enjoyed the food. Starters we enjoyed were arancini, potato croquettes, mackerel pate and thermidor crab. Beautifully presented as well as being delicious. Mains - haddock chowder with sourdough bread which was perfect for my post new year’s eve hungover stomach, steaks and the 13 year old ordered mac and cheese off the kids menu which was ideal. The 13 year old then went on to enjoy vanilla icecream and mango sorbet served delightfully in a frozen ceramic teacup with fresh strawberries, blueberries and an amaretti biscuit on the side. We left full and sleepy, and very satisfied. Final thing - dog friendly. The dog was clearly enjoying the zen vibes too sleeping contentedly under our table for the duration of our meal.

An outstanding lunch for our Anniversary. From the moment we arrived the visit became special, the staff attention to detail was a delight and the lunch tasting menu was perfect with the accompanying wine flight. The staff were amazing - never there until they were needed but attentive and efficient around every course,then they disappeared again! Wonderful. A perfect enue that has been a delight on every visit!
