Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads. Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis and carafes of mojito and margaritas.Tapas (available after 4pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself. Our everchanging Market Driven Menus always include a glass of sparkling wine, are Prix-Fixe, between 6-8 courses and range from $230-$300 per person plus tax, gratuity and any additional alcohol.RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: If you are late, please call to let us know. We will make every attempt to catch you up, but we absolutely cannot make any guarantees on coursing and pacing. Reservations are STRICTLY held by Credit Card.     The liquor license application is pending. Not their fault that the bureaucrats are slow to approve their license application. Pending approval, they don’t serve alcohol. You can bring your own bottle. The food was tasty, mild and delicious. We thought some warm dishes were a bit on the cold side. Perhaps warmer would be better. The service, the traditional dancer, the ambiance were excellent.

    Dining at Bistro Casanova has never let me down. Comfortable in both setting and cost, Bistro Casanova fits the bill for just about everyone’s palate. My friend and I chose the Paella, the size of which is shareable. This dish is filled with offerings from the land and sea, atop a bed of flavorfully seasoned saffron rice in a taste bud satisfying red sauce. The 1/2 carafe of Chianti wine was a perfect pairing and just the right amount, as was the complimentary (when ordering from the full menu) basket of fresh,y baked, warm from the oven ciabatta bread. The outdoor seating we chose was ideal as well.

    My husband and I went to Nylos to celebrate our anniversary last weekend. We both thoroughly loved it. The food was impeccable. The menu was creative . The ingredients were fresh and mostly local. The service was excellent. The price may seem high, but it is fine dining and it is an excellent value for the quality of food. I’m looking forward to celebrating other special occasions there in the future.
