I love the casual, comfortable yet sophisticated environment, the perfect lighting, the extra high ceiling and cityscape through the tall windows, and the comfortable choice of seating. I also love the mix of comfy benches, comfy couches, and comfy chairs along with more traditional seating and a beautiful bar in the middle.However the best part was the food and service. The menu is exotic yet approachable, and the staff is wonderful. It's obvious that management is out to create a complete casual dining and lounging experience. This is not just a place we will go back to, it's a place we intend to become regulars at. From the elegance of the decor, to the exceptional and friendly wait staff, nothing was left or wanting. The food was really really good. I love that this chef had such knowledge of Italian cuisine and the pairing of food on each plate was perfection. My burrata and beet salad was divine. Probably one of my favourite spots in the Financial District—hidden away in an office building which was a little difficult to navigate but found our way. I tried the PB Espresso and the Grilled Rigatoni Alla Zozzona, which was absolutely delicious. The dish was full of flavor, and the sausages paired perfectly with the creamy rosé sauce.
