Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. Beautiful romantic restaurant and stunning decor. Food delicious although slightly small portion sizes, and I felt that the pork (main course on the set lunch menu) should have come with at least some vegetables, without needing to order an extra side. However, the service was great, staff lovely, and overall a memorable experience for our anniversary. We will definitely go back for special occasions!

We simply loved our trip. What made it extra special for us, was allowing us as a family sit together and accommodate us earlier than our original seating time. Staff were brilliant and attentive, and quick to follow up on any concerns. The wine was lovely as well.

Quality Wines by name and by nature - interesting off-beat wines, not cheap, but well worth exploring, and very knowledgeable staff to help you select. Can’t wait to return and explore more of the list! Food is tapas-style, great for sharing, narrow but interesting and entirely adequate selection, and absolutely superbly prepared and presented. Given how busy it was, those chefs did an amazing job. Well done! Staff are all young, energetic, knowledgeable and eager to help. Full marks. Well done!

Great cocktails and visit every year for Xmas. Love the ambience and staff are lovely BUT service was slow (they need more staff making cocktails) - otherwise great.
