The Queen Anne Victorian at 210 Savannah Road in Lewes, DE has stood tall for over 100 years. Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. Records indicate that he paid $400 for the entire lot, one of the most prominent sites in downtown Lewes.Over the next 100 years, the Victorian structure built in the style of Eastlake, an English architect, served as a home for many families, including longtime Lewes Mayor, Otis Smith.The team at Raas is proud to continue the story of the Queen Anne Victorian.     Taylor was our Server. She’s lovely, attentive and courteous. The pineapple fried rice was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had shrimp tempura. Outrageous!! We come frequently and try something different each visit. We are never disappointed.

    I had celebrated my 25th here last night and the service was absolutely astounding. It was non stop teamwork and communication that was evident throughout our meal. Starting from the moment we walked in the door, to the minute we walked out we were treated with great hospitality. Now through the impeccable drinks in the mix and food and you’re in for a great time. We ordered an order of a flat bread, two orders of the crab balls and one big charcuterie board as a starter and they were phenomenal. For entrees I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection! I recommend Eden to anyone who’s looking for an exquisite dinning experience.

    Jess and Jonathan were very helpful in helping us choose our meal. Our food was delicious and interesting. Everything was presented so beautifully that it looked like artwork - we almost felt guilty disturbing it. My chicken was the most tender I had ever had and my husband's whole fish was very pleasing to him. It was a good experience to sit in a comfortable booth and observe the kitchen staff at work. The kitchen looked very clean and organized and the chefs certainly knew what they were doing and did it smoothly. They were very gracious in responding when I thanked them from afar.
