Best Romantic Restaurants in Kensington

Early time frame was a good choice as it was quiet. My partner wants to come back again.

The food, as always, was outstanding, the cocktails stellar, the service, warm, friendly, prompt and responsive. You're always made to feel welcome and part of the family here. It was a delight to sit at the Chef's counter and watch the action, in particular the wonderful Jaime! The crab pasta we had Saturday night was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, anywhere. We're so lucky to have Via del Corso in the Bay Area.

Everything about Donato & Co was perfect from the lovely hostess who set a bright mood for our evening, to our thoughtful server Samuel, to Benjamin who was sweet and made sure to run our food to us on time. The food itself was super tasty and there were plenty of vegetarian options. We had Castelfranco (subbed vegetarian dressing); Scarpetta; Arancini; Tortino; and my favorite the Tortelloni. Overall, this place has top notch food and staff and I'm definitely going back next time I'm in town.

Everything we ate was delicious. The Beet Salad was well dressed and plentiful for two. The Short Ribs were tender and tasty - great comfort dish! The Lamb Kebabs and Couscous are my “go to favorite”. The Baklava w/Vanilla Ice Cream was “the right way to end a fantastic meal”! Our server was attentive (checked in on us regularly) and efficient. Wonderful dining experience!

I lived in Italy for a year and three.one four’s pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The salad was amazing as well. Full bar/craft cocktails, great wine selection, and an incredible dessert menu. We’re already looking forward to returning to try some of their pastas and salads. We forgot that we were there during happy hour and were surprised at how reasonable our check was for such a memorable dining experience.
